Data Deletion — Mosso Studio
Effective date: June 30, 2026 Last updated: June 30, 2026
This page tells you how to delete the data we store when you message @mosso.studio on Instagram. It also contains, in Part B, a technical specification for the data-deletion callback endpoint Meta can call automatically.
- Legal entity: Legion Trade Corp, operating as "Mosso Studio" (o/a Mosso Studio)
- Website: https://mosso.ca
- Contact email: hello@mosso.ca
- Instagram: @mosso.studio
How to delete your data
When you send a direct message (DM) to @mosso.studio on Instagram, we store a record of the conversation so our assistant can reply and keep context. This record includes:
- your Instagram-scoped user ID (IGSID) — an identifier specific to our account, not your username;
- the text of the messages you send;
- timestamps; and
- the replies we send back.
These records are stored in a local file (conversations.json) on the operator's own computer. We keep them no longer than 24 months, or until you ask us to delete them — whichever comes first.
To request deletion
Email us at hello@mosso.ca with the subject line "Delete my data".
So we can find and remove your records, please send your request from, or with a clear reference to, the Instagram account you used to message @mosso.studio (for example, include your Instagram handle).
When we receive your request, we will:
- Locate every conversation record tied to your IGSID;
- Delete your IGSID, message text, timestamps, and our generated replies from
conversations.json; - Forget the related access/token data for your conversation, as applicable; and
- Confirm by email once deletion is complete.
We aim to complete deletions promptly and within the time required by applicable privacy law (PIPEDA).
Other ways to stop and remove your data
- Stop automated replies: reply STOP in the DM thread, or block @mosso.studio on Instagram.
- Through Meta/Instagram: if you remove our app's access or request deletion through Instagram, Meta will send us an automated data deletion request, which we honor by deleting your conversation data (see Part B).
